Village House

“The Village House is a space for the Community to use, to enhance connectedness and security in the area. Our aim is to create a safe space for local people to meet and interact.”

My vision for the Village House, is that it will be in use every day, hosting groups large and small, with our support where necessary, but most of all a community space where people feel comfortable and can connect with others in a way they feel happy with.

About the Village House Co-ordinator

Lynda Burdekin – Coordinator, Village House Complex.

Lynda lives locally and is Chair of the Southshore Residents Association, she is also involved with Civil Defence and Risingholme Community Centre, which provides Adult Community Education.
